Operates and drives vehicles, transporting people or goods from one location to another. Responsibilities include transporting materials, merchandise, and equipment over land, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, planning routes, and documenting work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Qualifications include possessing a valid driver's license and, depending on the vehicle type, a Class A, Class B, Class C or other type of Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
