Nyxianz Homes Limited is a family owned Construction Company. Established in 2014. We service both the residential and commercial building sectors. We love to employ locally and have a great team of apprentice builders who are eager to learn the trade. Tasks & responsibilities

·       General assistance to the carpenter including assisting with all types of carpentry work in building wooden or part wooden items which form part of buildings

·       Assisting with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries

·       Assisting in erecting and fitting wood structures

·       Assisting in setting up the job site and preparing the layouts

·       Helping with cutting and shaping wood parts for installation

·       Erecting wood panels and frames during installation and joinery fitting Hardware installation

·       Assisting timber flooring and ceiling installation

·       Assisting to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; 

·       Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner

• Building decks and fences
• General repair and maintenance work including hanging doors, fixing locks, and other property maintenance as required

What do you need?

·      NZQF Level 4 qualification, or compulsory secondary education

·      Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage

• Good eye for detail and an ability to solve problems practically
• A "can-do" attitude
• Reasonable level of fitness and willingness to work outdoors

Location: Auckland 

Permanent, Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week)
