We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance Team - this is a pivotal role in keeping our plant and equipment serviced, repaired and ready for action at any time.
What we are looking for is someone with experience in:
- Service and repair of a wide range of equipment (light / Heavy)
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Site breakdowns and maintenance work as required
- Maintain service / repair records
- Pre COF / WOF inspections
- Taking vehicles to testing station for compliance inspection
- Overseeing apprentices (when required)
Ideally you will have the following:
- Hydraulic experience
- Full clean drivers licence (NZ) up to class 5 (advantageous)
- W endorsement (advantageous) but not essential
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- The ability to attend to work out of town when required (South Island)
- Exceptional health and safety practices and lifting methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Site Safe certificate (advantage but not essential)
