Hairdresser

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.

• Cut, trim, layer, and style hair according to clients’ requirements.

• Perform hair colouring, highlighting, perming, straightening, and other hair treatments as required.

• Wash, condition, and treat clients’ hair using appropriate products and techniques.

• Advise clients on hair care, styling techniques, and suitable hair care products.

• Maintain client records and manage appointments where required.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, tools, and salon equipment.

• Follow workplace health and safety requirements.

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to encourage repeat business.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant practical experience in hairdressing.

• Demonstrated ability to perform haircuts, styling, and other hairdressing services.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A professional attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.

Working Conditions:

1. Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am to 6:30 pm   

2. Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours. Up to 50 hours.
