We are a small mechanical service and repair company based in Ranfurly, Central Otago. We cover a large area of the Maniototo servicing and repairing  different types of diesel powered vehicles including but not limited to tractors, trucks, cultivation equipment,  agricultural machinery like motorbikes, silage wagons and hay equipment.

We have been operating successfully since August 2009 and pride ourselves in the work we do and the relationships we form with our clients

What we are looking for in a team member:

·        Someone who enjoys a variety of work

·        Be able to diagnose vehicle and machinery faults

·        Be able to carry out repairs and service to vehicles and machinery to a high and safe standard

·        Must have excellent communication skills

·        Be able to think on feet, use initiative and have common sense

·        Be self-motivated, able to work alone or in company, also work in a timely manner

·        Be honest and friendly

·        Applicant must be tidy and able to stay up to date with job cards, time sheets and keep a clear record of order numbers when ordering parts

Tasks include:

•         Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
•         Dismantling and removing engines assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and referring to service manuals as needed
•         Performing scheduled maintenance service’s , such as oils changes, lubrications of moving parts and engine tunes ups on tractors, trucks and other diesel powered vehicles, to achieve smoother and efficient running of vehicles and to ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
•          Dismantling and reassembling of engines and machinery after being repaired or serviced.
•          Testing and adjusting mechanical parts ie brake systems, hydraulic systems, ag machinery (balers, cultivation equipment) etc
•           Carrying out vehicle inspections getting them ready for wof and cof

 We require someone with at least one year of relevant experience or a relevant Level 4 qualification

A full drivers licence

This job is a full time/permanent position offering at least 40 hours per week.

 Some on call and weekend work will be required but only during busy times of the season.
