Helicopter Maintenance Engineers – Full-Time & Touring Roles – Advanced Flight Engineering Ltd – Auckland, New Zealand

Advanced Flight Engineering Ltd is a NZCAA Part 145-certified organisation responsible for the maintenance of a large and diverse fleet of modern helicopters, based at the Auckland Heliport in Onehunga.

We are currently seeking NZ Licensed Helicopter Mechanical Engineers to join our team in full-time roles. We have openings for both:

  • A standard Monday to Friday (5-day week) position
  • A touring role, based on a 21-days-on / 21-days-off rotation

Experience on one or more of the following aircraft/engine types is highly desirable:

  • Airbus EC130 / AS350
  • Airbus BK117 D series
  • Bell 429
  • Safran Arriel engine series
  • Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206 / PW207 engines

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 5 years of certifying experience on any of the above airframes or engine types
  • NZ passport or NZ residence visa

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Conduct major inspections
  • Daily support for aerial work, corporate, and police contracts
  • Domestic and international travel may be required
