Christchurch Helicopters is located at Christchurch International Airport and have been operating since 2001. The organisation operates a large number of modern aircraft in the Agricultural, Commercial, Pilot Training, Tourism and Data capture sectors.

The Role: Aviation theory tutor

Christchurch Helicopters are seeking a motivated & enthusiastic individual to teach our ground training theory for students looking to gain their pilots license. The applicant will also be required to assist in creating course material. Work alongside a team of passionate pilots, engineers and office staff to deliver a high quality course. The role allows the applicant the flexibility to alter the course, classrooms, and material to how they deem best.

Experience:

  • Completed the aviation Instructional Techniques Course (ITC) or have complete some other appropriate teaching qualification
  • Knowledge of the subject material is an advantage however not prerequisite as training will be provided.
  • IT knowledge – competent with Microsoft office & google docs an advantage.
  • Applicants with a passion for aviation or a pilot licence would be preferred.
