Lead on-site rotorcraft maintenance program for NZ operations

Helicopter LAME – New Zealand

Heliventures NZ based at the Oamaru Airport is looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our growing team. We are a commercial and agricultural helicopter operation which predominantly services Otago, South Canterbury and the MacKenzie Country, but also operates across New Zealand for some projects. We also have a base at Pukaki Airport in Twizel. We operate a fleet of AS350/355, MD520Ns, and a Schweizer 300. We currently have one other full time LAME on staff and also contract external maintenance providers.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Licensed Helicopter Engineer preferably holding a Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 rotorcraft rating
  • Experienced on AS350/355 – Arriel and Arrius, MD520N or 500 series – Rolls Royce, and Schweizer 300 – Lycoming
  • Be confident in their knowledge of CAA Rules and Regulations
  • Have the ability to work independently and alongside other staff
  • An active participant in our safety management system
  • Striving for high standards consistently
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Hold a full driver's license
  • A positive team member with a good sense of humor
  • Physically fit
  • Able to past a pre-employment and random drug/alcohol test
