Helicopter Crew Member – New Zealand

We are looking for someone to join our team as a helicopter crew member. You would be joining a team of 6, in a close knit, family owned helicopter operation.

Rangitikei Helicopters are involved in a wide variety of helicopter operations.

These include all types of scenic and charter flights, department of conservation work, hunting and tramping parties, lifting, surveys, fire fighting, and a wide range of agricultural spraying and topdressing operations.

As a helicopter crewman, expect diversity and variation in your daily work.

This is a physical job, where safety, communication and attention to details are paramount.

This role will suit a person who is safety focused, who follows instruction, interested in learning and building unique skills, is confident around machinery, driving, has sound mechanical skills, and a good level of fitness.

Regular early morning starts, and weekend work is required.

Rangitikei helicopters operate a strict duty time and fatigue management system, therefore all applicants are required to live within 30 minutes of our Rewa base (15 minutes east of Hunterville), or be prepared to relocate.

Licenses that are strongly recommended are:

  • Dangerous Goods License
  • Class 2 drivers License
