We are seeking a qualified and experienced screen printer to join our established and creative team at Uniform Studio. This is a key position where you will operate industrial screen printing machinery, produce high quality printed garments and continue with product developement in a collabrative and face paced environment. 

the role requires both technical expertise and design knowledge making it an exciting opportunity to grow within a supportive team and make a contribution.

Key Responsibilities.

: Operate, monitor maintain both Automatic and manual screen printing machines.

: Interperate design briefs and art work to deliver high quality screen prints that meets clients expectations.

: Select inks and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and consistant output.

: Collaborate with design and production teams to align screen printing techniques with art.

: Clean reclaim and shoot new screens including half tone, multi colour and full colour process prints.

: Be able to meet production and output schedules to maintain production efficiency. 

 

Skills and Qualifications. 

: Minimum 6 months experience operating automatic and manual screen printing presses.

: Demonstate the ability to interperate and reproduce screen printed art work.

: Knowledge of garment construction, textiles and embellishment techniques as it pertains to screen printing onto different forms of textiles.

: Strong technical precision and attension to detail.

: Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and trouble shoot issues when they come up.

: Team orientated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
