Topline Services Ltd is a trusted Auckland-based cleaning and property maintenance company, delivering high-quality services to both residential and commercial clients. Our team specialises in a wide range of building maintenance and cleaning services — From carpentry work and wall and ceiling repairs to roof water blasting and post-construction deep cleans.

 

As part of our expanding operations, we are now looking for three experienced Carpenter to join our property maintenance team. You will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewed and interpreted building plans and technical drawings to understand material requirements and measurements.
  • Planned and organised timber and other construction materials according to project needs.
  • Measured, cut, and shaped materials accurately based on specifications.
  • Assembled and installed wooden components to form structural frameworks.
  • Built and installed structural elements such as walls, roofs, stairs, window frames, and panels.
  • Installed fascia boards, roof sheathing, exterior cladding, and door and window frames.
  • Completed internal and external cladding work.
  • Removed, repaired, and replaced fittings and fixtures when necessary.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements (must meet at least one):

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in carpentry, property maintenance, or the construction industry; OR
  • A Level 4 qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework in carpentry, building, or a related field; OR
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field (NZQF Level 7 or above)

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working on both residential and commercial construction sites
  • Knowledge of reading building plans and technical drawings 
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing timber structures 
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a construction team 
  • Good physical fitness with strong attention to detail 
  • Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence is an advantage
