NZWATERBLASTING LIMITED is seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Blasting Technicians to join its team in Auckland. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work.
The role requires travel within the Auckland region and occasional travel to the nearby regions, with all work-related travel and fuel costs covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain pressure washing, water blasting, and soft-wash equipment in accordance with company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Carry out exterior cleaning at residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including buildings, driveways, walkways, decks, fences, roofs, patios, and concrete surfaces.
  • Inspect surfaces for moss, mould, algae, grease, stains, dirt, and other contaminants, and select suitable cleaning methods and products.
  • Carry out water blasting, soft washing, chemical cleaning, and stain removal using approved equipment and cleaning products.
  • Prepare work areas before starting each job by protecting nearby surfaces and setting up safety barriers and warning signs where required.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and perform basic maintenance on tools, machinery, hoses, spray systems, and company vehicles.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling, using, and storing cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Report equipment faults, maintenance needs, hazards, incidents, and other work- related issues to management promptly.
  • Communicate with customers politely and professionally, maintaining a positive image of the company.
  • Clean and organise work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment after each job and at the end of the working day.
  • Work cooperatively with team members and perform other reasonable duties assigned by management to support daily business operations.


Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30
per hour.


Other requirements:

  • Relevant work experience is highly preferred but not mandatory, as full training will be provided.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • A valid driver’s licence is required.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work, including working at heights and outdoors.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including cold and wet conditions.
  • Able to follow instructions and comply with health and safety requirements.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
