(PM) Forklift Operator

Help keep stock moving through a busy distribution centre, loading, unloading and moving products to get them out to stores across NZ!

Are you a confident, experienced Forklift Operator who's happy to jump off the forklift and get stuck in? We've got an opportunity for you! We're looking for skilled and reliable operators to join our team at a busy Distribution Centre in Ruakura, Hamilton, helping keep products moving through the warehouse and out to stores across NZ. We have AFTERNOON shifts (2:45pm – 11:15pm) available, rostered weekly. You MUST be available Monday to Friday. You'll need solid, hands-on counterbalance experience and be confident operating safely in a busy warehouse. This isn't 100% forklift driving, so you'll also need to be physically fit and happy helping with general warehouse duties.

The role:

  • $27.50 per hour | Afternoon shift | 2:45pm – 11:15pm
  • Rostered weekly, Monday to Friday availability required
  • Operating counterbalance forklifts to move and organise stock
  • Loading, unloading and moving pallets safely around the warehouse
  • Helping with general warehouse duties, including physical work off the forklift

What you'll bring:

  • Current Forklift Operator's Certificate (OSH)
  • Proven counterbalance experience – you MUST be a competent, confident operator
  • Reach truck experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • Physically fit and happy doing hands-on warehouse work, not just forklift driving
  • Current NZ driver's licence and reliable transport to and from work
  • A strong focus on safety, reliability and working well as part of a team
