The Opportunity

We're looking to connect with experienced Service Plumbers in Christchurch who are ready for their next opportunity.

You'll be working across a variety of residential and commercial properties, carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations and fault-finding. We're looking for capable, NZ Registered Plumbers who can hit the ground running, confidently diagnose plumbing issues and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their day, is comfortable dealing directly with customers and can manage their workload independently while working as part of an experienced team.

What We're Looking For

We're after experienced Service Plumbers with a strong background in maintenance, repairs and fault-finding. You'll ideally have experience across:

  • Residential and commercial plumbing maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnosing plumbing faults and identifying practical solutions
  • Installing, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, fittings and pipework
  • Carrying out general plumbing installations, upgrades and remedial work
  • Responding to service calls and managing multiple jobs throughout the day
  • Working independently and completing jobs to a high standard
  • Communicating professionally with customers, supervisors and other trades
  • Using digital job management systems to record job notes and updates
  • Working safely and ensuring all plumbing work meets NZ regulations and standards
 
To be considered, you'll need:

  • Current NZ Tradesman or Certifying Plumber registration and appropriate practising licence
  • Proven experience in service plumbing, maintenance and fault-finding
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues independently
  • A strong understanding of NZ plumbing regulations and industry standards
  • A full NZ driver's licence
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • A reliable work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid NZ work rights
 
Experience in commercial maintenance, emergency call-outs and on-call work would be advantageous.

You'll also need a solid work history and references that can support your experience and standard of work.
