We are hiring for Unicraft Construction LIMITED, a professional construction company based
in Auckland. We specialise in residential and commercial building projects and
undertake a wide range of construction work across the Auckland region. We
are currently seeking Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters to join our growing team.

Location: AUCKLAND Job type: Full‑time Permanent Number of positions for this job: 4 Pay rate: from $28‑$35 per hour Working hours: Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 60 hours per week.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements and installation procedures

• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining timber and other materials

• Constructing, installing, renovating, and repairing structures and fixtures including frameworks, floors, walls, roofs, doors, and windows.

• Nailing panels, boards, and blocks into position using hand tools and power tools.

• Installing formwork and reinforcing frameworks for concrete pouring.

• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of workmanship, safety, and quality.

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.

• Collaborating with other construction team members and contractors to meet project deadlines

• Complying with all building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards Job Requirements:

• Relevant prior 2‑year experience OR a NZQF Level 4 formal qualification in construction‑related field that demonstrates skills relevant to the requirements of the position. • Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree or higher are not restricted to a particular major.

• Self‑motivated

• Suitable apprentice carpenters may also be considered for this position.
