Thai Heng Grow Fruit & Vege is a fruit and vegetable retailer serving the local community with fresh produce and friendly service.  We are looking for three Butchers to join our team, prepare quality meat products and maintain high standards of freshness, presentation and food safety.  If you have a passion for quality meats and strong butchery skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

🔪 Break, bone, slice, mince, and cut carcasses and meat to required sizes.

🔪 Prepare crumbed, marinated, seasoned, and cured meats.

🔪 Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, mincers, and tenderizers.

🔪 Monitor inventory, assist with production planning, and ensure quality control.

🔪 Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards.

🔪 Keep the butchery department organized and support daily operations.

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ At least 2 years of relevant work experience in butchery.

✔️ Strong knife skills and experience with deboning, cutting, and portioning.

✔️ Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper meat storage.

✔️ Ability to operate meat processing equipment efficiently.

✔️ Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

✔️ Team player with good time management skills.

💰 Salary: NZD 35 per hour

⏰ Hours: At least 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday with shifts between 8 AM – 6 PM

📍 Location: Henderson, Auckland
