We are a construction company based in Auckland

We are now looking for 1-10 Carpenters to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will provide access to a reputable and experienced company.

Work Location: Auckland

Employment type: Full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed to a maximum of 60 hours per week, workdays from Monday to Saturday), Permanent role

Our pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

Tasks you may carry out:

studying drawings and specifications to determine materials and installation procedures

ordering and selecting timbers and other materials and preparing layouts

cutting materials, assembling, and nailing cut and shaped parts

erecting framework and roof framing

nailing fascia panels, fitting internal and exterior wall cladding and door and window frames

renovate and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials.

Operating a variety of hand tools and power tools in a safe manner

Immediately report problems/failures to supervisor and management

 

To be successful you will need to:

Have at least two years of solid, relevant experience, or

Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent qualifications/certificates

Be a great team player and be able to follow instructions

Be physically fit and willing to work hard

Good eye for detail and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively

Have a "can-do" attitude
