We are Aurian windows and doors ltd based in Ellerslie Auckland. Seeking 9 skilled Sheet Metal Workers for our workshop. Full-time permanent role, $27-$35/hour. Requires minimum 2 years sheet metal fabrication experience or relevant Level4 qualification.

AURIAN WINDOWS AND DOORS LIMITED is a well-established windows and doors manufacturing company based in Ellerslie, Auckland. We specialise in manufacturing aluminium and metal window & door components for residential and commercial projects across Auckland region. We are currently seeking skilled SHEET METAL WORKERS to join our expanding production team. Position details Location: Auckland Job type: Full-time Permanent Vacancies: up to 9 Pay rate: $27-$35 per hour Working days: 5-6 days per week Hours per week: Min 30, Max 60 hours

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications for metal window and door components; understand dimensions, tolerances and material requirements.

• Calculate dimensions, shapes and material quantities for sheet-metal parts, frames and accessories for windows and doors.

• Select appropriate sheet-metal stock including aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel, inspect material condition and dimensions against job specifications.

• Use shears, cut-off machinery to precisely cut sheet-metal materials according to cutting lists, ensuring length and dimension tolerances are within required limits.

• Operate folding / bending machines to accurately fabricate sheet-metal frames and components for windows and doors, strictly following drawing requirements for angles and dimensions.

• Mark-out metal stock using measuring tools such as steel rulers, squares, gauges.

• Fit, assemble and join sheet-metal components by riveting, bolting and light welding to complete window-door frame assemblies.

• Carry out finishing work including filing, deburring and cleaning of fabricated metal parts.

• Follow all workplace health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop.

• Maintain clean and organised workshop area, proper storage of tools, equipment and raw materials. • At least two-years relevant sheet-metal work experience OR hold a Level 4 formal qualification in Sheet Metal Making

• A “can-do” positive work attitude

• Self-motivated, reliable workshop work ethic

• Clean non-criminal record
