Automotive Assistant

Our Company is a Automotive service provider. We are currently looking for one Automotive Assistant, who is willing to working in a challenging environment with experience or qualification. The experience in the related field is appreciated.

We require the following: -

Our ideal candidates will either have a level 2 or 3 qualification in related field or 1 year of work experience in similar field. Applicant must have ability to communicate with the customer confidently and provide a friendly and professional service. Multilinguistic people will be given preference due to our varied customer base. Must be ready to travel and have full Drivers License or be able to obtain.

Heavy lifting could be a part of the job.

Applicant must be physically fit in order to be recruited for this role.

A pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of the recruitment process.

Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends

Key Responsibilities:-

• Must be able to remove old and damaged parts, accessories and cleaning surrounding areas on vehicles.
• Must be able to fit batteries and installing accessories such as sunroofs, stereos and alarms.
• Must be able to remove damaged glass, trimming strips and rubber seals from window frames and mountings on motor vehicles, positioning new windscreens and glass windows on frames and attaching and sealing them
• Must be able to inspect, remove and repair muffler mountings, and fitting new mufflers, extractors and exhaust pipes
• Must be able to remove radiators from vehicles and cleaning and repairing them
• Must be able to install new or repaired radiators into vehicles and repairing and replacing other units in the cooling system such as thermostats, head gaskets and water pumps
• Must be able to inspect tyres to determine which repair action to implement and repairing punctures in tubes and tubeless tyres.
• Must be able to operate air driven equipment to remove and refit tyres and tubes on vehicles
• Must be able to carry out the balancing of the wheels and tyres using static and electronic equipment.
• Must be able to fit and replace parts and accessories on motor vehicles.
