Residential Estimator & Detailer

We are seeking a Residential Estimator & Detailer to join our team based in Judea, Tauranga.

You will prepare estimates and quotations for residential aluminium window and door projects using architectural plans, specifications and other project information. You will also prepare accurate detailing and job information to support production, ordering and installation.

Location: Judea, Tauranga
Hourly rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour 
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Minimum guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and interpreting architectural plans, specifications and project requirements.
• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for residential window and door projects.
• Calculating material, labour, manufacturing and installation requirements.
• Preparing detailed job information for production and ordering.
• Identifying and managing changes, variations and potential project issues.
• Liaising with customers, builders, architects, suppliers and internal teams.
• Checking measurements, pricing and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring a clear handover to production and installation teams.

Skills and experience required:

• A relevant Diploma level qualification or above in construction, quantity surveying, estimating or a related field; OR
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in construction estimating, detailing or a related construction role.
