A courier driver is required for one of the fast-paced company. We are one of the Post Haste’s Contractors looking for a courier driver to assist with deliveries for our allocated run and customers.

We are looking for someone to work Full-Time Monday to Friday (Occasionally need to work on Saturday) on Rostered basis with 1–2 days off.

You will be responsible for:

  • Arriving in depot on time to sort out the freight.
  • Secure load in good manner and arrange it properly to deliver easily.
  • Delivering the stuff on time.
  • Comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies etc.
  • Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle.
  • Driving vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
  • Driver must be responsible for secure load and deliver on timely manner.
  • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel to benefit the business.
  • Any other tasks asked from time to time.

Skills We Require

  • General good health and physical ability and ability to pass drug test.
  • One year of driving/relevant experience preferred.
  • Well organised and passionate for the job.
  • Must have clean criminal history and be able to get a dangerous goods certification
  • Class 1 driving license required or equivalent overseas license and ability to convert into NZ one, however full training will be provided.
  • Must be reliable and ability for long term commitment.
  • Must be able to work on weekends, public holidays etc.

Other Details

  • Pay Rate: From $24 to $28 based on work experience.
  • Minimum Hours per week: Min 32 hours – max 60 hours.
  • Workdays: Mon to Sunday with 1–2 days off.
  • Number of positions: 1.
