INFINITY WORLDWIDE LTD based in Auckland, New Lynn. We are looking for TWO full-time experienced Vehicle Painters to join our team. As a Vehicle Painter, you will be working for a minimum of 30 hours to a maximum of 60 hours per week ona  roaster, and you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smoothing out rough areas on vehicle panels
  • Sanding surfaces manually and with electric sanders
  • Using tape and paper to mask off areas not to be painted
  • Selects and mixes paint to produce desired colour matching and shades, and according to specifications, using paddle or mechanical mixer
  • Applying primer and finishing coats with spray guns, and sanding surfaces between each coat
  • Touching up paintwork and polishing vehicles
  • Removing masking materials, and waxing and polishing the final paint job
  • Painting signs and artwork on vehicles
  • Applying rust-proofing treatments to vehicles
  • Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent

About you:

  • Familiar with Spies Hecker basecoat/waterborne paint tinter system, well know about the Spies Hecker spectrometer scanner device
  • Ability to manually adjust the tinter mixing formula to achieve the best color match 
  • Very good bodyfiller skill since we have a lot old school vehicles restoration jobs thus required large amount bodyfiller job
  • Very good cutting polish skill
  • At least 6 months of related working experience, or a NZQF level 4 relevant qualification or above qualification
