About us

Botany Vehicle Service is an automotive workshop based in East Tamaki, Auckland. We provide vehicle servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs, Warrant of Fitness inspections, tyre services, and panel and paint work. We are looking for a Multimedia Specialist to turn the work happening in our workshop into clear, accurate and engaging content for our customers and digital channels.

About the role

You will plan and produce multimedia content that explains our services, showcases our team and documents selected repair projects. Working with management, customer service staff and automotive technicians, you will make sure technical information is accurate and presented in a way customers can understand.

Your responsibilities will include:

•  Planning content for our website, social media and customer communications.

•  Photographing and filming workshop activities, team members and suitable vehicle projects.

•  Editing short videos and images, and creating graphics, captions and other digital materials.

•  Producing service explanations, project stories and promotional content in formats suited to different channels.

•  Coordinating with technicians to check technical details before publication.

•  Updating website content and maintaining consistent branding across digital materials.

•  Organising source files, templates and finished assets, including managing customer permissions for images and video.

About you

You will bring experience producing digital or multimedia content and a portfolio that shows your work. You can plan a piece of content from brief to delivery, communicate well with people who have different areas of expertise, and turn technical information into clear messages. Practical skills in photography, video editing and graphic design are important. Experience with website content and social media publishing will be useful.

Automotive industry experience is welcome but is not essential if you can learn the subject matter and work closely with our technical team.
