B2 Construction Ltd is a construction company based in Auckland. Due to business growth and projects demand in Queenstown, we are now looking for 2 Carpenter Assistants to join our team. This is a great opportunity for motivated and hardworking people to become part of a supportive and experienced construction business.

 

Tasks you may carry out include:

  • Carrying and unloading all necessary materials and tools that are requisite during construction, and move these stuffs to particular building sites;
  • Responsible for the erection and dismantling staging and other interim stuctures;
  • Give a proper mixture to materials like cement, concrete, and mortar; then pour and spread them nicely;
  • Approach and desmantle multi-level structures by the assistance of facilities such as ladders, hydraulic bucket trucks and swinging scaffolds;
  • Conduct garbage disposal after every completion of construction works to make sure the cleanliness;
  • Detecting possible issues might occur in sewerage systems like leaks or other damges, and repair them once discover;
  • Work with the installation of indoor fixtures;
  • Setting up facilities like piping, fittings, and valves; Any other instructions by team leaders and director.

To be successful you will need:

  • Be Physically fit.

  • Relevant qualification or experiece is not a must, on-job training will be provided.

  • Be able to work at least 30 hours each week.

  • Be able to cooperate with collegues well.

  • Have a strong awareness of the importance of constrution safety while working.

  • Be able to accomplish tasks by team leaders timely.

Travel requirement:
This role is based in Queenstown. The company will provide reasonable travel and accommodation allowances/subsidies for approved work-related travel.
