Truck Driver (2 Positions)

Mantaj Transport Limited is seeking two experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our Auckland-based transport operation. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while complying with all road transport and health and safety requirements. This is a permanent full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Mantaj Transport Limited is a growing transport company based in Auckland. Due to securing new transport contracts and business growth, we are seeking two experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious individuals who can contribute to the efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
  • Load, transport, and unload goods while ensuring cargo is properly secured.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and documentation.
  • Comply with all road transport laws, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
  • Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent eligible for New Zealand licensing).
  • Good understanding of New Zealand road safety and transport regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to pass any pre-employment checks required by the employer.

Employment Conditions

  • Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour.
  • Guaranteed Minimum Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly.
  • Work Location: Auckland region.
  • Permanent full-time employment.
