Cleaning Service Manager

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day residential and commercial cleaning operations
- Organise and allocate cleaning jobs to staff based on customer requirements and schedules
- Prepare and manage cleaning schedules for regular and one-off services
- Supervise cleaning staff and coordinate their daily work
- Monitor the quality of cleaning work and carry out checks to maintain our service standards
- Coordinate household, builder, move-in/move-out and Airbnb cleaning services
- Coordinate office, retail, school and contract cleaning services
- Coordinate carpet and window cleaning services as required
- Communicate with customers about bookings, cleaning requirements and special requests
- Respond to customer feedback and coordinate any follow-up
- Make sure staff have the cleaning products, equipment and supplies they need
- Monitor ongoing cleaning contracts and ensure scheduled services are completed
- Maintain cleaning schedules, job records and customer requirements
- Identify and resolve day-to-day operational and scheduling issues

-Ensure health and safety procedures are followed on every job site, including safe use of cleaning products and equipment
- Travel within the Taupō, Rotorua and surrounding region as required to supervise work and support staff on site
- Assist the owner with improving our cleaning services and the overall operation of the business

**Skills and experience**
- Two or more years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the cleaning or service industry
- Experience coordinating staff and daily work schedules
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple cleaning jobs and staff at the same time
- Good understanding of cleaning services, equipment and products
- A practical, hands-on approach to managing service operations
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays

**Job details**
- **Position:** Full-time
- **Hours:** Minimum 30, maximum 40 per week
- **Salary:** $30 to $35 per hour, based on skills and experience
- **Location:** Based at Taupo, with travel to Rotorua and surrounding areas as required
