Position: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 2
Location: ALL, Auckland
Pay Rate: $28 – $35 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 50 hours per week


Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience

OR

Level 4 Qualification.


Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily fruit production and orchard activities.
Monitor plant health, irrigation, pest, and disease conditions.
Allocate tasks and supervise orchard workers and seasonal staff .
Train staff in safe horticultural practices and procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Oversee the safe use of orchard tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate production records and activity logs.
Conduct quality checks to protect crop yield and standards.
Report orchard progress, issues, and operational updates tomanagement.

 

Position Title: Site Manager
Number of Positions: 2
Location: ALL, Auckland
Pay Rate: $30 - $38 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 - 50 hours per week

Key Requirements:

Level 4 Qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring horticultural knowledge is kept up to date, implementing and making suggestions for new practices, techniques, and products.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate orchard operations across assigned orchard sites.
  • Ensuring that orchard development, crop maintenance, and harvesting activities are completed effectively to achieve company production goals.
  • Recording and reporting key orchard data, including crop estimates, bud counts, production forecasts, and operational performance.
  • Maintaining orchard assets, equipment, machinery, and infrastructure to agreed standards.
  • Obtaining and reviewing reports and operational paperwork from Site Managers, Horticulture Leading Hands, and Team Leaders.
  • Providing guidance and operational support to Site Managers, Horticulture Leading Hands, and orchard teams as required.
