Pay Rate: NZD $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

AEM HOLDING LIMITED is seeking two experienced and motivated Site Managers to oversee residential construction projects across Auckland. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Planning and scheduling site works to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople.
• Monitoring project progress and reporting on milestones, delays, and site performance.
• Conducting site inspections and maintaining quality control standards.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Organising materials, equipment, and labour resources required for projects.
• Identifying and resolving site-related issues and construction challenges.
• Maintaining site records, reports, and project documentation.
• Assisting with project costing, budgeting, and resource planning where required.

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants must have either:

• A relevant NZQF Level 5 qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification); or
• At least three years of relevant construction supervision or site management experience.

Successful applicants will also demonstrate:

• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of health and safety requirements within the construction industry.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Employment Details

• Full-time permanent position.
• Minimum 30 hours per week.
• Hourly rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Work will be based in Auckland and may require travel between project sites.
