Site Supervisor needed

We are a well-established, Auckland based roofing construction company. Now we are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team and we invite you to share this commitment with us!

We offer competitive rates and are looking for a motivated hard working candidate to join our team on a full time (guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and permanent basis. Additional hours may apply based on workload. The location of work will be within the Auckland Region.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

•        Assisting managing director/project manager in planning and organization roofing/construction site activities from end to end
•        Managing all site activities and workers to ensure project deadlines are met
•        Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice to workers on sites to adhere to H&S regulations and policies
•        Overseeing all elements of construction work on site to deliver projects on time with excellent quality standards and within project budget
•        Making plans to schedule timeframe, tradesmen workforce and building material required for each project
•        Working closely with the team and clients to ensure the projects are completed within the negotiated timeframe and specifications
•        Managing the site operation from set up to completion by implementing robust project methodology
•        Quality checking and record keeping with effective communication between different parties for project progress
•        Liaising with engineers, designers, council inspectors or other relevant workers to identify and solve the problems when necessary
•        Monitoring and overseeing site health & safety and project quality to meet the required standard and handle any issues that arise

What you'll need to succeed:

•        At least 2 years’ experience in relevant field or industry, OR
•        Have a NZ level 5 qualification or equivalent certificates/qualifications
