We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Math Tutor to help students master mathematical concepts, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. In this role, you will deliver targeted instruction tailored to each student's unique learning style.

You will work with students in one-on-one or small-group settings, breaking down complex principles into actionable, easy-to-understand steps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted Instruction: Deliver clear explanations of mathematical subjects, including Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
  • Custom Lesson Planning: Assess each student's current skill level, identify gaps in knowledge, and develop personalized study plans.
  • Exam & Test Prep: Equip students with test-taking strategies, time-management skills, and practice materials to prepare for school exams and standardized tests.
  • Homework Support: Guide students through challenging assignments and school projects without simply giving away the answers.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track student milestones, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians.
  • Engagement: Foster an encouraging, patient, and positive learning environment that minimizes math anxiety.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Subject Expertise: A strong academic background with Bachelor degree or above in mathematics or with at least 5 years of previous teaching Math experience as a peer tutor, formal educator.
  • Communication Skills: Superb verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain difficult concepts simply and patiently.
  • Reliability: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a track record of punctuality.
  • Tech Literacy: Comfort using digital tools, online whiteboards, and video conferencing software if teaching remotely.
