  • Hours: 30–40 hours per week

  • Pay Rate: NZD $30–$31 per hour

  • Wall and Floor Tiler – Full-Time

A construction company based in Auckland is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team due to ongoing project requirements. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in delivering quality tiling work and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check building plans and measure areas before starting tiling work.

  • Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure they are ready for tile installation.

  • Mark out areas to guide the placement of tiles.

  • Cut tiles to the required size and shape using suitable tools.

  • Mix and spread adhesive to fix tiles onto walls and floors.

  • Place tiles in position and maintain even space between them.

  • Fill gaps between tiles with grout and complete edge finishing.

  • Check finished surfaces and make adjustments where necessary.

  • Keep tools in good condition and maintain a tidy work area.

  • Work with other construction team members and follow site safety rules.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years relevant experience

  • Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must 

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

  • A reliable and responsible approach to work and site safety.
