The Hairdressers will be responsible for providing professional hairdressing services, including cutting, styling, colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair. The role involves understanding client preferences, recommending suitable hairstyles and hair care products, and maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and advise on hairstyles, hair care, treatments, and suitable hair products.
• Shampoo, condition and prepare hair for cutting, styling and other services.
• Colour, straighten and permanently wave hair using appropriate products and techniques.
• Cut, trim and shape hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other hairdressing tools.
• Style hair using various techniques, including braiding, dreadlocks and hair extensions.
• Shave, trim and shape beards and moustaches as required.
• Clean and sanitise hairdressing tools, equipment and work areas.
• Manage client appointments, bookings and collect payments.
• Clean, cut, colour and style wigs and hairpieces as required.
• Maintain professional standards of hygiene, safety and customer service.

Candidate requirements
 
• The applicant must have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience or relevant qualification
• Knowledge of professional hair cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatment techniques.
• Ability to use hairdressing tools, equipment and chemical products safely and effectively.
• Understanding of different hair types, textures and scalp conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
