About the Role

As a Synthetic Turf Installer, your primary focus will be delivering high-quality turf installations. You will work across a variety of projects, ensuring cutting, seaming, joining, infilling, and finishing are completed to our high technical and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Turf Installation: Measure, cut, seam, glue, and infill synthetic turf across residential lawns, sports fields, and playgrounds.

• Preparation & Finishing: Groom surfaces, shape turf around obstacles/edges, and conduct site QA checks before job sign-off.

• Shock Pad & Base Work: Support base preparation (excavation, levelling, compaction) and assist with installing shock pads, geotextile membranes, and timber/steel edging.

• Preparation & Operations: Read and interpret job plans, ensure tools/materials are fully loaded before leaving the yard, and safely operate hand and power tools.

• Site Quality & Tech: Maintain a clean, safe job site and capture job progress photos and notes via digital tools.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: A minimum of three years experience installing synthetic turf systems to specification with minimal supervision (solid experience in landscaping, paving, or civil base preparation would also be beneficial).

• Technical Skills: Skilled in turf cutting, joining, gluing, grooming, and base work.

• Driver's Licence: Full NZ Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain one within 6 months) and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

• Fitness & Attitude: Physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, and takes real pride in workmanship.

• Communication & Tech: Strong teamwork skills and comfort using digital job-tracking tools on-site.

• Bonus: Forklift licence and experience operating loaders or mini-loaders are beneficial!
