About the role

Experienced carpenters are needed for our carpentry division. This is a full time role, with mininum 30 hours guaranteed work per week, and may be required to work up to 50 hours a week. You will be involved in a range of residential, commercial and maintenance carpentry projects throughout Southland and Otago. 

Key responsibilites

  • residential, commercial and maintenance carpentry projects/work
  • Reading plans, measuring and cutting materials, constructing and repairing framing, installing doors, windows, cladding and finishing timbers, and general building maintenance.

About you

  • Trade qualified carpenter with at least 2 years experience 
  • Prefer holding full NZ driver's licence (at least class 1) or overseas equivalent 
  • High standard of workmanship
  • Work accurately and safely, and be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, professional and motivated
