About the role

Our growning business needs building labourers to join the busy team. This is a full time role, with mininum 30 hours guaranteed work per week, and may be required to work up to 50 hours a week. You will be involved in a range of residential, commercial and maintenance building projects throughout Otago. 

Key responsibilites

  • Assisting residential, commercial and maintenance projects/work (carpentry and painting work).
  • Moving materials, assisting trades workers with repairs and maintenance, preparing surfaces, sanding, filling, masking, basic painting under supervison, and site clean-up. 

About you

  • 6-12 months relevant experience.
  • Prefer holding full NZ driver's licence (at least class 1) or overseas equivalent.
  • Be reliable, able to undertake physical work safely, follow instructions and work well in a team.
