Senior Developer Programmer

MoboPlus is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Developer Programmer to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining and enhancing software applications to meet business and technical requirements. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong programming expertise, problem-solving abilities and experience delivering reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse technical specifications and business requirements to develop software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain software applications and program code.
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications, including backend services and APIs.
• Translate functional requirements and technical designs into efficient, maintainable code.
• Identify and resolve software defects, performance issues and technical problems.
• Develop and maintain databases and integrate applications with existing systems.
• Conduct code reviews, software testing and quality assurance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful software development and delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers where required.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
• A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant professional experience in software development or programming.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and relevant development frameworks.
• Experience in software application development, testing, debugging and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of database technologies, APIs and software integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality code.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.

• A permanent position with a minimum of 30 guaranteed working hours per week.
