We are a retail outlet that operates 7 days a week between 7 am to 9 pm.

The role is based in Upper Hutt, Wellington and we are looking for 2 Supervisors to work in our team. 

Key tasks and responsibilities

•         Coordinate the daily work of retail sales staff and check out

•         Assist in  staff rosters and allocate duties to cover trading hours

•         Train new team members in customer service, product knowledge, till and store procedures

•         Make sure customers receive prompt, friendly service and resolve customer complaints

•         Monitor stock levels, place orders, check and recieve deliveries against invoices. Check expiry and stock shelves as required.

•         Open and close the store, balance tills and complete cash-handling and banking procedures

•         Enforce health and safety, security and loss-prevention procedures

•         Report sales results, staffing issues and stock problems to the Store Manager. You are required to have a high school qualification or 1 year of work experience. You are gaurenteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. You are required to be physically fit due to heavy lifting of pallets when stock arrives and standing hours.
