We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to oversee our daily operations and support the continued growth of our business.

About the role

Location: based in Albany, Auckland

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with weekend work required as rostered.

Pay Rate: $34-$38 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily salon operations, appointments and service standards.

  • Supervise, train and coordinate salon staff, including work rosters and performance.

  • Oversee hairdressing services and provide technical guidance to staff when required.

  • Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints to maintain client satisfaction.

  • Monitor stock levels, order salon products and coordinate with suppliers.

  • Undertake budgeting, sales performance, pricing and promotional activities.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and professional salon environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing a hairdressing salon.

  • Sound knowledge of professional hairdressing techniques.

  • Proven ability to supervise staff and manage daily salon operations.

  • Good communication, customer service and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
