Successful candidates will be employed by ATNZ and assigned to this host company where they will receive valuable on-the-job training while studying to become a fully qualified engineer. The strand will likely be either General Engineering or Machining at this stage. But the overarching qualification the learner will receive is a New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Trade) Level 4.
