Put your civil experience to work on projects across Wellington. We're looking for reliable labourers ready to get stuck in alongside experienced crew.

Know your way around a civil site? Bring your experience to projects across the Wellington region. We're looking for experienced civil labourers who can keep things moving on site. If you've worked on roads, helped lay drains or spent time on the tools with a concrete crew, we want to hear from you. You'll work alongside crews and machine operators, helping turn prepared ground into finished work. Depending on the project, you could be:

  • Preparing ground, digging trenches and moving materials.
  • Helping with asphalt preparation, repairs and reinstatement.
  • Assisting with concrete boxing, pours and finishing.
  • Supporting drain laying and drainage work.
  • Using hand and power tools and keeping the site tidy.

Expect physical, outdoor work with a crew that relies on everyone doing their part.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in civil labouring or construction.
  • A reliable approach; you turn up ready and follow through.
  • The fitness to handle digging, lifting and working on your feet.
  • A minimum NZ Restricted Driver Licence and reliable transport.
  • A focus on safe work and taking direction on site.

Asphalt, concrete or drainage experience will stand out. A Class 2 licence, WTR endorsements or machinery experience would also be an advantage. Where you'll be working We have opportunities across Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt and Porirua, with potential for ongoing work and the chance to build on your civil skills. You'll need current NZ working rights and be able to complete our pre-employment requirements, including a drug test and criminal history check.
