Video Editor

 In this role as Video Editor you will be required to do a range of tasks some which may not be

currently listed in this description - the majority of the role is bullet-pointed below.

Managing post production projects while collaborating with producers.

Pre and post production - ensure the vision of the client and producer are met.

Mood boarding and assisting in creative meetings to ensure a cohesive result.

Utilising the file storage and organisational structure the business maintains for all

videos. Managing server storage and optimisation.

Editing and creating with the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects,

Illustrator, DaVinci)

Developing timeline footage, reviewing and selecting relevant footage to be edited in the

final output.

Editing videos with graphics, special effects, sourcing music and applying to the edit.

(Grading, sound design, visual effects, green screen, DIT)

Editing videos according to the approved schedule and budgeted hours.

Admin/Client management and liaison.

Pro-active development of new techniques in editing and keeping track of trends.

Professional development.

Personal attributes to include:

Onsite editing without “studio setup”

Ability to work offsite at client venues and non office environments while under time pressure for immediate turnaround timings.

Ability to work weekends, split shifts and long hours to meet ASAP deliverables to gain client

approval and rework if necessary. Done with direct client contact for speed and

efficiency,requiring the ability to project manage directly with the client for final output.

Ability to travel domestically for work.

Ability to step in as required
