Courier Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and committed Courier Driver to join our team in Dunedin, Otago.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels within Dunedin and travelling to other cities as and when required to ensure timely and efficient delivery of parcels.

This is a full-time position, offering a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $25.00 to $30.00, depending on skills and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and arrange goods keeping in mind the ease of delivery
- Secure the goods appropriately to avoid damage
- Plan the most efficient route for delivery
- Unload goods at the destination in the appropriate place
- Collect signatures, and complete other documentation as required
- Ensure that the vehicle is running smoothly and perform regular checks on the same
- Report any maintenance issues to the owner at the earliest
- Ensure the jobs are carried out efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction
- Comply with Health and Safety Regulations at all times

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Fit and able to lift over 30kgs
- Hard-working and a team player
- Displays good verbal and written communication skills
- Have good customer service skills - our customer base is diverse.
- Computer literate - you will need to use our handheld devices.
- Ability to operate a vehicle & have a full clean driver's license
