Station Manager

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Petrol Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy petrol station and convenience store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining efficient fuel and retail operations, monitoring business performance, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the petrol station and convenience store, ensuring efficient service and smooth running of the business.

• Manage fuel stock levels, coordinate fuel deliveries, monitor inventory records, and liaise with fuel suppliers to maintain adequate supply.

• Manage convenience store inventory, including ordering merchandise, monitoring stock levels, minimising wastage, and ensuring products are appropriately displayed and priced.

• Monitor daily sales, operating expenses, cash flow, and overall business performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and consistent customer service standards.

• Oversee daily cash reconciliation, point-of-sale transactions, banking procedures, and the preparation of sales and inventory reports.

• Coordinate promotional activities, seasonal offers, and in-store merchandising to support fuel and retail sales.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, including safe fuel handling, spill response procedures, emergency protocols, and food safety standards.

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the forecourt, fuel dispensing areas, convenience store, and associated facilities.

• Handle customer enquiries and complaints, resolve operational issues, and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

Eligibility Criteria (must meet ONE of the following):

• Hold a relevant qualification at diploma level or higher; OR

• Have a minimum of three years of relevant experience 

Job Location: Mt Roskill, Auckland
Pay: $34 per hour  
Minimum and Maximum Hours of Work: 30 - 40 hours
