They will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, working on residential or commercial projects, and ensuring all work meets NZ building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and wood, plywood, and wallboard fixtures.
- Framing walls, floors, and roofs.
- Installing doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Working from blueprints and drawings.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Following Site Safe procedures.
- Selecting and ordering appropriate building materials.
- Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and site supervisors.
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements and Skills:
- NZQCF Level 4 qualification or higher in Carpentry or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Site Safe passport.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of building materials and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical fitness.
- Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) status is an advantage.
- Experience operating a forklift is an advantage.
- Be willing to undergo random drug tests while employed.
- Must be NZ Citizen, NZ Resident or eligible to work in NZ.
The successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work in different locations (Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Nelson-Tasman, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago and Southland), providing a unique chance to explore New Zealand's diverse regions.
This is a full-time permanent role, and the hourly pay rate is between NZ$29 and NZ$41, depending on experience and carpentry licence. The work hours are from 30 hours minimum to 70 hours maximum per week, and they are to be worked between Monday and Friday between 7 am and 5 pm. They may be required to work on weekends.
