Our client is a developed and specialist contractor within the civil, commercial and residential space, specialising in a wide variety of concrete structures, and general carpentry.

With experience in small and large-scale projects, they have been involved in constructing a wide range of complex projects including; water treatment plants, retaining walls, bridge construction, concrete structures, building slabs, commercial buildings, sheds and specialist foundations all while they focus on delivering high-quality results.



We are looking on behalf of our client for a driven Site Foreman to join their young energetic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a spring in their step, and knowledgeable in formwork, concrete and carpentry.



As a Foreman, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. Tackling the daily challenges that arise with proactive head on solutions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and supervise daily activities on-site - including staffing, subbies and ordering of materials.
  • Running a project(s) from start to finish effectively to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure that H&S and Quality standards are followed at all times.
  • Oversee the execution of a variety of concrete works & structures, foundations, bridges, retaining walls and general carpentry
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth operations within the project.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to assist with their development and productivity.



Key Requirements:



  • Experience in concrete construction, and general carpentry
  • Can read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Ability to motivate, drive and manage a team and subcontractors on site.
  • Work on large, complex sites and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ambition to move up within the company and take on increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
