ICT Security Officer

As an ICT Security Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining the company’s IT security framework. Your role will focus on protecting our payment systems, networks, and customer data from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to protect company assets.

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, investigate incidents, and provide timely resolutions.

• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security tools to prevent unauthorized access.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate security risks and enhance cybersecurity posture.

• Provide training and awareness programs to employees on best security practices.

• Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, attack methods, and security technologies.

Requirements:

 • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. OR

• At least 3 years of experience in ICT security, preferably within the financial or payment services sector.

• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption protocols, firewalls, and security monitoring tools.

• Hands-on experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or PCI DSS Implementer are preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond swiftly to security incidents.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
