Employment Type: Full time (Minimum 30 & maximum 45 hours per week)

 

Our pay: $30.00 to $35.00, depending on skills and experience

 

We are a well-established spices retailing business based in Auckland. We are now looking for 1 Retail buyer to join our supportive team.

 

Key responsibilities:

·      Analyse sales and inventory data to identify top-selling products and underperforming items, analysing trade and market insights to ensure a trendy and suitable stock level

·      Negotiate purchase terms with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable supply arrangements

·      Develop and execute efficient marketing strategies, including pricing, presentation, and promotional activities for spice and herb products to maximize customer appeal

·      Liase with management on long-term strategies and sales promotional activities

·      Generate detailed operational plans to meet demand over various periods, taking into account seasonal variations and budgetary limitations

·      Determine the specific spice and herb products to purchase and establish appropriate quantities based on customer demand and market trends.

·      Seek out new suppliers to ensure a trendy and high-quality product offering.

The Successful applicant must have followed:

-              2 years of work experience in relevant filed or industry OR

-              Have a relevant level 4 or higher qualification in business/commerce
