Class 4 Driver
Class 4 driver needed for growing fleet in road construction industry.
The class 4 Driver will be responsible for driving a 6-wheel tipper truck working with a roading crew, where activities include (but are not limited to) carting materials, working under a digger, spreading roading chip.
For the right person this will be a full time, permanent position with a guarantee of 40 hours per week, after trial period.
Responsibilities: Operate truck in a safe and responsible manner. Transport materials to and from various locations, including loading and unloading. Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies procedures. Maintain accurate records of all loads collected and unloaded.
Requirements: Valid Class 4 driver's license with clean driving record (class 5 advantage) Experience and knowledge of operating a 6-wheel truck on a roading. Excellent communication skills Pre-employment medical/drug test and Police checks are required as part of the recruitment process. Committed and dependable Applicants for this position should have a NZ residency or a valid work Visa.
DG license, WTR endorsement would be an advantage but training towards gaining these would be available to the right person.
