Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to manage resources, monitor progress, and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial controls are maintained throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other project personnel, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work and ensure that construction activities meet industry standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, devise mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Procurement & Contracts: Manage the procurement process for materials and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that updates, changes, and issues are communicated effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule and scope.
  • Project Close-Out: Oversee the final inspections, documentation, and turnover of the project to the client, ensuring that all project requirements have been met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • Years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and on construction sites.
  • Ability to perform on-site inspections and oversee construction activities.
