Nail technician

Responsibilities:

• In charge of customer service: take appoiments, phone calls, payment at recepetion
• Discuss client needs and advise clients on company services
• Perform manicures and pedicures including decorative nail art, application of artificial nails, nail repair and other specialized hand and foot treatments in a timely manner 
• Know how to do nails extensions: Dipping powder nails, Gel and Acrylics nails
• Properly use chemicals for nail treatment 
• Prepare and clean beauty station with sanitation and sterilization standards by salon’procedure
• Maintain salon’s safety, hygiene, health, complying with legal requirements
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products when appropriate
• Perform other tasks as required

Requirements 
2+ years experience as a nail technician `or relevant qualification 
Be punctual, tidy and reliable
Attention to detail and focus on quality
Know about the basis of Health and Safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions
Be able to work mininum hours of work: 30 hours per week

Some overtime maybe required to complete the tasks in a timely manner

Applicants should have New Zealand Residency or Citizens

Wages and Benefits:
- Competitive rate is $25 - $32/hour based on experience
- Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week
